Pros

This brace is the perfect stiffness which immobilizes my thumb & tendons to my thumb. It also has a great support bar from the tip of the thumb down alongsie the palm part of your hand to the wrist.

It's super annoying to be without my opposable thumb but that’s what allows the tendon to heal. I have carpel tunnel, arthritis, gout, tendonitis all in my fingers and thumb. It help with my tendonitis very well.

Splint is perfect for needing to immobilize my thumb. Allows the mobility needed to hold paint brushes effectively. More reasonably priced than big name orthotic companies.

It's comfortable to wear once you have it on in a good position. It stabilizes your thumb completely. It's pretty comfy for a splint. I have large hands - women's xl or men's small.

Cons

The wrist strap part is far to small to cover any area big enough to provide support. There is material connecting both sides of the brace and it does not give much so sliding your hand and wrist into it can be a challenge.
