Pros

Laptop section is well padded and the bag has a separate section for a tablet. Perfect size for minimalist commuting. Smaller and more compact size, perfect for 12 inch macbook and ipad.

Moreso for the lightweight traveler. Looks brand spanking new after being hauled everywhere! It's just what i wanted for travel, especially when i need something that blends in.

The pocket in the front with a vertical zip easily swallows small items. I like the the outer zipper allows you access to another section without creating a protruding pocket. With a few pockets internally along the walls.

The l-zipper is a bit of a gimmick as i don't use it very often. In addition, the l-shaped zipper plus the zipper at the top of the pack are ingenious.

The profile of the bag is such that it stays close to your back which makes it ideal as a commuter in busy areas. Despite that this backpack lacks the back trap for fixing it on the carry on handles, this has wayyyyyyyy better padding on the shoulder ... Read More

Cons

The bag opens oddly and the hard section for sun glasses or whatever is part of the front flap and that causes the bag to flop open. It barely zips up like it's going to bust. No chest strap either.

It is true that the laptop will not fit into the side access but it does fit into the internal pocket through the top of the pack
