Pros & Cons
Pros
Love this pattern and no leaking. They are durable and i hardly ever have any leaks. Bought with the thirsties hemp and organic cotton stay dry inserts. One hemp insert is enough to keep her dry between feedings during day.
The * diaper is a bit more stiff because of the double layer pul. I have a toddler that's fully potty trained. Also, for newbies, definitely buy a two pack of diaper pail bags so that you have one when the other is in the wash!
Month-old's onesie still snaps and her pants still fit. The fit is also great and doesn't leave marks on my baby's thighs. At just over 10 lbs and gaining these fit better and better. The baby gets a break, too.
Cons
Thirsties diapers are too bulky no matter the setting they just don’t look right and when you add a liner they are more bulky. White trim is cute, but it is *not* waterproof. It consistently wicks moisture from the inner diaper out onto clothes.
The only time these covers work well is with insert and pre fold combination. They have a burr that prevents them from closing. As a result, the cover cannot be reused several times in a row.

I use prefolds and occasionally inserts that just lay in there but i prefer the prefolds because they absorb better
