It also has a brighter display than my previous instant thermometer. The display auto rotates when you turn it, which is another plus.
Cons
In the instructions, it actually says “wait until temperature reading stabilizes on the display. The product never shuts off and turns on with the slightest vibration.
The temperature constantly fluctuates from underdone to overdone. Read temps within 5-6 seconds. It is also off by at least 2 deg f. Manufacturer’s specification indicating the thermometer will read in 2-3 seconds is grossly incorrect.
Disappointed to say the least. Will probably just spend the extra money for a therma pen mk4. No way. This thermometer is worthless.
But it’s awful. Not at all accurate. The plastic it is made from is garbage. And it's inaccurate.
