Pros

The product is great especially at the price point, reads rapidly and accurately. A definite bargain.

Wipe with a damp sponge and then a towel to clean. The temp reading is fast. The protective tip is too tight but since the tip is indeed sharp, we used a teeny drop of canola to ease the removal.

Cons

Lasted 4 moths then quit. From the time of 1st use, had problems powering on this thermometer. Probably just a defective product.

Gives wildly inaccurate readings and will read 65 one second then 135 in another second and then 100. May not be resistant to water so be careful. Would not read a temp anymore. Can't get like a drop of water on it.

Biggest disappointment is the build quality. Paid twice the price of the thermometer just for the batteries. Ruined an expensive steak last night.

It comes with a rubber grommet for storage and doesn’t take more than 1 click to turn on and temp your meat

The thermometer was not working when i received itit would only work if i took off the battery cover and pressed down on the batteries
