The thermometer itself works fine but the controls are a bit nonintuitive

Most importantly you cant just use it as a thermometer without the alarm feature you must program a threshold at which it alarms

Since i like it just to monitor the temperature for things like proofing bread rather than always inserting the probe into meat this is annoying
