Pros
Nice little gadget. This thermometer is incredibly handy in the kitchen. This is very inexpensive.
Cons
This is straight with a sheath. And it was clearly used. Waste of money and patience. Did not realize this when ordering this thermometer.
Would blink on for a millisecond and shut off. Battery housing components are too fragile.
It's pretty slow on the draw when it comes to registering temp. The thermostat no longer works properly after a few months.

Set for celsius or fahrenheit sick in and push the on button for instant temperature reading

Ive only used this thermometer for wax but it states instant read thermometer and that is not that case

I held the thermometer in the wax and it slowly would get to the correct temp

So if youre looking for a good meat thermometer than you can use and get and instant temp reading this may not be the one for you

I have trouble putting the cap back on it keeps sliding off

The only thing i would suggest is for the manufacturer to include an enclosure with list of temperatures for rare medium well chicken pork etc
