Pros
While it definitely feels cheap, the performance is actually pretty darned good! Lets face for $30 its a **steal** and one really does belong on your test bench. For 30 bucks this thing is a total steal!
Cons
The meter is not as accurate as it claims. Disconnecting the probe and reconnecting it to the same channel would also keep changing the temperature up or down each time.

Readings are consistent and compared them to a cheap laser temp gun i got on amazon as well it matches up so seems accurate enough

The unit and the included thermocouples passed the ice water test nicely with all four registering within one degree fahrenheit of 32 degrees

It works reasonably for the job but kilns take hours to fire and the thermometer 34times out34 and shuts off automatically after only fifteen minutes or so

Perhaps that is intentional because are made backwards due to the unusual wire coloring that finds the red wire used on the negative terminals

Nice unit easy to use but the temps on the included probes are 23f higher than a couple of known accurate thermometers

I have some new probes coming so i guess ill find the higher readings are due to the probes or the unit itself

The lead instructor thought it would be neat to be able to measure the temperature in each compartment as part of the demonstration
