One bank of ram which is close to the chipset heatsink and the processors was the worst offender

Had a very similar situation to another reviewer running a wellventilated home server with six banks of ecc ram in pairs

Four ran just fine but one pair situated between a pci card and a pair of cpu coolers would idle around 55c and hit 7580c under load
