I thought it would be an ordinary tale but there were traces of religious beliefs touches of modern problems a nod to “into the woods” perhaps

Its magical in that same way that something like a memory from ones childhood is magical you can grasp what is going on and you are drawn ever more deeply into it but at the same time its just strange enough just alien enough that you cant hold tightly to itit will wriggle free and fly away
