Pros

The storyline is cute, but a little dark, and absolutely brilliant. The story is also really fun to read even as an adult lol. A perfect ending that made me laugh (and makes perfect sense) caps it all off.

This book is a top favorite for both parents and kids. The three animal's adventures will have children enthralled. My 3 year olds needs this book asap.

The illustrations by jon klassen suit the story perfectly with his unusual style of drawing, almost like rough sketching, or a first draft. Love the author and illustrator team. The illustrations are magical.

Jon klassen and mac barnett are a hilarious duo. Another wacky and wild book by mac barnett and wonderfully illustrated by jon klassen. Mac barnett is hilarious.

Cons

This book isn't even that dark. It's just that the authors carelessly throw around death, violence, and incarceration as fun themes. Led astray on this one, for sure. Tells kids a lie as to why wolves howl.
