Pros

Jude continues to thrive as jude and we see lots of betrayal by loved ones for her. She puts so much into herself doing what she believes is the safest for everything especially oak.

The kiss between jude and cardan is so toxic it’s intoxicating. I wish jude was a bit more flawed, but cardan/madoc/terryn/vivi/oreitta are all very flawed yet lovable.

As she helps him navigate the politics of the crown, she must also protect the crown from many angles. But you see both of their characters change and mature.

The wicked king by holly black is the sequel to the cruel prince. This book is a dark and a beautifully twisted faerie story about a human girl, jude, who was taken from the human world to be raised in faerie.

Cons

It's not my cup of tea and that is probably the nicest thing i can say. Protagonist is immature isolated and unbearable come to think about it, everyone is.

Jude is such an unbelievably pathetic character that i find myself cringing and annoyed. Is it because of jude’s tiresome exceptionalism?
