While it is a quick read, it has no conclusive ending. This should be marketed as a sample, not a first book in the series.

The use of language here is clunky and artless, even though it is grammatically correct for the most part. Numerous incomplete thoughts or sentences. The overuse of adverbs.

The writing comes off as if written by a 15 year old girl. While the story is written in the first person and the protagonist is of that age, it just reads like a novice's attempt. To clarify, it sounds like an adult trying to sound like a teenager.
