This is one of the most interesting and unique fantasy genre stories i have ever heard. A combination of familiar and unfamiliar monsters, really scary villains, and an unusual set of friends make these stories fun to read.

Fred frankford fletcher is * into the supernatural world through no fault of his own. Fred gets caught up in a deranged larp where everyone is going to be sacrificed for supernatural power but him.

Cons

Other sources of potential tension, are similarly quashed out of existence. Constantly complaining about his looks and hung up about high school drama at the wonderful age of 28.
