On almost every page there are parts where important people in vg history chime in. The narration is excellent, and the overall layout works exceptionally well. Very nerdy; very informative.
Cons
Why is video game spelled as one word (videogame) here and nowhere else? A weird obsession on atari and unrrelevant gossip about atari employees. The information that was presented about the sega dreamcast was biased and not accurate.

The book ended between the release of the ps2 and the xbox which for me was a perfect ending point as the end of the dreamcast and hence the end of sega hardware is where my interest also ends
