If you like science fiction and fast paced books, this is the right one for you. I highly recommend this entire series for anyone who lives sci-fi, urban fantasy and super hero stories.

Using her skills for reading minds and stopping the time in danger, this character hypnotizes you. It is a nice background into the mindset of our protaganist, mira. She has a little ptsd going on.

The characters are very gritty and realeastic in they're scenarios. They are gritty, exciting and suspenseful. It is enlightening to get the little details that couldn't be woven into the main story.

Granted this is just the intro, book 0, but it's a solid hook for the rest of the series. I love that there wasn't also a preview of what is happening next.

This is so short, it's over practically before it starts. I don't see how it can even be called a novella. The ability that mira has is odd. Only so so. Kind of coarse.
