This is an author that i never hesitate to pick up. This of course is the type of book that then becomes hard to put down as it pulls me in further and further. The concept and premise of the book were done well.

Three-year-old millie goes missing while being babysat by her twelve year old step-sister, shelby. Shelby insists that millie has run away, but we know right away that shelby is hiding something from the police as well as her dad and stepmom.
It’s twisty-turny and full of holy * moments. With a hairpin turn at about 2/3 of the way through, it sets you on a whole new path with all kinds of discoveries.

The stepchild was incredibly fast paced and addictive where i finished it in one sitting

It kept me on my toes the entire time making this a muchdeserved fivestar read
