We have a weird space at our front door and this was the only gate that fit

The only thing though is that if you are regularly using the walkway or staircase its a hassle to unbuckle all three latches every time you go through it

At first glance it may seem expensive especially compared to other options out there however we tried a few cheaper options and they just didnt provide the functionality nor the aesthetics that this barrier does

This was not an issue for us but if we had molding at the bottom of the wall the spacers would not have been wide enough to accommodate us
