Dolby doesnt have an ego that eventually bores you to death like a majority of the other pop and rock stars that write autobiographies

The first two thirds covers thomas dolby the pop star whilst the last third covers business ventures

Ultimately you get the feeling dolby remains disappointed that he never fully achieved the status from his music career that he perhaps deserved

And without some of the crushing blows he might not have led such an interesting life or such a happy one finding his place in the world and ending up as an academic which given his background was probably his natural destiny
