Pros
The skinny steamer has shorter easier recipes that are laid out one to a page with clear steps. Plus it's not waterlogged.
Steamed vegetables (artichokes, broccoli and asparagus, mainly) are covered in this cookbook. The recipes are just superb and i love that it gives the time it takes for each veggie for steaming.
Cons
It looks like a beginners coloring book. Weird ingredients with very confusing instructions. Since i am on a low carb diet, the many recipes with rice are not useful. Not at all imaginative.

So i bought it and two cookbooks to give me some ideas about how to use it the skinny steamer with marginal reviews and cooking with steam said to be the classic but also with marginal reviews
