Pros & Cons

Pros

Mallery walks through this issue carefully and captured it beautifully. Her stories are real, with humor thrown in for fun, - they make you want to see what is going to happen next.

I love the family dynamics stories that were unraveling and mending. In true mallory fashion, susan weaves in a grandfather who ran out on the family when they needed him the most. A heartfelt, and complicated family drama.

This is a family you'll be cheering for. It truly shows us how messy families can be.

The sister effect is susan mallery's newest creation. Thanks to harlequin trade publishing through netgalley for an advance copy. This is the second book in the sister effect arc.

Cons

Same wording over and over. No sympathy for main characters and ridiculous storyline. I have an alcoholic father and i tend to stay away from stories that mention alcoholic *.
