The story is quite captivating. The story moves briskly, and the words flows effortlessly. From lies and deceit, to what happiness occurs, every word makes this entire book a true work of art.
Diane chamberlain is a master of weaving a story that you think you have figured out, and you never do. I wish diane chamberlain would have talked about him a little more. The silent sister is an emotionally driven mystery. Diane. Chamberlain.
This book is sneaky - it creeps up on you and things are not what you thought. One of the reviews in my paperback copy calls the novel's surprise ending to be a shock.
Cons
Last third of the book is just a huge snore. The writing gives one the supercilious wish to edit though that’s not very nice.
The characters look all the same, boring, without any sparkle or personality. The storyline is too one-dimensional.
