Pros & Cons
Pros
Nik's picks book reviews is a weekly book review blog. This week, nik picks his top picks for the week.
Well written script style with well-developed characterization. Book reads similar to mnb with a bit more humour and personable story.
Zoey comes home to find her foster mother turn into a monster. A secret society picks her up and she enters their program to combat evil. Her quick thinking saves the world, and she embarks on a new life as an agent.
Zoey is a loner with strange talents and bright red hair. There's a hint of romance between zoey and the handsome tristan. Tristan is harry, simon is ron, and zoey is hermione.
The seventh sense is an entertaining read, probably best suited for 12-14 year olds. Loved the snark and the leprechauns. Mystics is amazing and i can't wait to read the next book. A mystic is someone who knows how to use their powers.
Cons
It's basically a rip-off of mib movies and the aliens are now monsters. The supporting characters are so formulaic as to be completely forgettable.
