Pros & Cons
Pros
The scorpion's tail is a fantastic, fun read. Why this foe would be committing all the crimes that occur during the story, however, remains a mystery. It deserves five stars!
There's the smart, handsome sheriff of socorro who wears two six-shooters strapped to his hips. The characters are distinct yet blend together in a unique way. This action filled story is has memorable charactors returning from their earlier adventure... Read More
Cons
The book is truly, all hat and no cattle---just one of the many cliche lines and scenerios in these ditheringly strung out pages---ironically presaging the entire book!
Corrie is just argh! It is all corrine swanson and she is not a favorite of mine. I'm done with preston and child. Not at all how i feel corrie or nora should sound like.
This is just inconceivably bad. No raisins, no nuts, no cream whatsoever. I have a book signed by them apologizing for all the f-bombs.
The narrator is not good. It seems they have no respect for their long time loyal reading public by churning out another bad story. Listening to the audiobook, the narrator's attempt to emulate male voices wasn't convincing.
