Pros
The book itself is beautiful. Large pictures, very engaging. Good illustration. Like an encyclopedia for science.
Perfect for inspiring interest. Great for our homeschooled thirteen year old. My six year old grandson loves it.
Cons
It has a lot of good information but it glazes over too many subjects and doesn't dig deep enough into any topic. The writing makes zero effort to inspire curiosity or wonder. It is filled with both grammar and typographical errors.
The science book is unable to cover anything well. The pages shine and produce glare under just about any lighting condition. You have to move the pages around to get a legible view.

I bought the used good hardcover edition so i was very happy with both the price and the product
I ordered this book with the intent to use for homeschooling
The image quality is wonderful but dont let that fool you there is ample reading on all the pages
Packaging/appearance
For such a big beautiful book it should have had better packaging that would have kept it from moving around in the package

A lot of usefull inforamation and pictures
Great information for any student over 8yrs

I did request a replacement as the first book arrived with bent corners and tears along the edges of the book which i dont believe anyone should pay 20 for in a worn condition

Great book but i had ordered bit for a 7 snd 20 year old brother and sister and was mortified when they immediately opened up to the human anatomy bpage

My complaint is that after less than 2 months of moderate and careful use the pages are coming off and the book is broken into a few sections

It arrived in a box that was larger than the book but nothing inside to keep it from moving

So the back 10 or so pages was dogeared inward from shifting inside the box
