I read book 2 before this one not knowing it. Took me a day of looking for a new series, rummaging through reviews, reading synopsis ', etc. I hope this helps you find your next tantalizing tome!

The book mostly delivered except i was disappointed that it did have explicit scenes that i felt marred the otherwise upbuilding hope that pervaded the book that effort and good morals can produce a better life

In addition to the usual editing glitches this story has a significant flaw the earl who would normally be the hero and is the hero in book 2 is older than he will be in the sequel

Perhaps leech flinched at making him a full 20 years older than her heroine in the earls temptation but then she should have gone back to the rogue and made him 35 at the start rather than 37
