When i first started reading this book i was less than impressed but it quickly improved beyond my initial expectations

And though misunderstandings and neglect were rampant i loved that the characters were able to repair to have relationships and respect their differences

I loved marys growth over time many years wonderfully providing a realism infrequently taken advantage of in modern books
