Pros
This is a thriller that is so different from others that it’s such a page turner. I like the people in a story to behave in a way that real people might behave.
A chance meeting while at a work seminar brings emily together with her new boyfriend adam in a whirlwind romance. Jones writes exquisitely and the characters bounce of the pages in a roller coaster relationship ride.
Everything goes great until she meets his mother. Peppa, her flat mate is also part of her story.
Cons
Her actions fail to meet her thoughts, and she's so insecure she won't run from this guy? Very anticlimactic ending.
Not one of my favorites from the reese bookclub list. I repeatedly got frustrated with this book and almost did not finish it. There is nothing in this book that speaks to the very first page.

I love that i thought i knew where this was going but i was thrown more than a few times

The plot takes a different turn but this is so closely modeled on 34rebecca34 that its odd not to see it mentioned in the blurbs or reviews of the book

Its hard to see why the main character loves adam at all as the author lingers on his bad traits and this makes it too easy to slip into a 34why doesnt she just leave34 judgment
