Pros
It is large enough to accommodate my 22 lb cat who loves to nap in it too. My guys also love to sleep and lounge on this, and it's big enough for them to do so comfortably.
Cats love this product. They scratch, lounge and sleep in it. My cat uses it frequently to sharpen her claws and has not bothered my sofa since. It's his favorite place to be, and it keeps his claws off my couch.
The cardboard floor and sides are reversible and replaceable. Comes with two pads and both are reversible. Minx and micah fight over it daily.
Cons
The bottom of the box was also dented. I suppose they just don't like corrugated cardboard scratchers.
The 'bottom of the barrel' scratch lounge is bad quality for way too much money. It seems to be highly rated by others, but for $20. Disappointed in the size.

The delivery day arrived and we had hardly unwrapped our scratcher when all three cats were investigating it and trying to claim it

I wrapped the box in clear packing tape to secure the short flaps and protect it since it is outside the litter box

Ive bought other less expensive scratchers and they dont really care for them anymore
I have purchased other products that cost more specifically those that are sloped and keep kitty on the outside of the cardboard structure
