The kashtray is very sturdy and easy to clean. The ceramic is solid, and has a bit of weight to it.

Cons

This is downright just poor quality as metal wouldn't burn off. It has one job - to vacate the last reminants of a pipe smoke - and it just doesn't seem to be capable of it.
