After time when broken in you can lace them to the top eyelet. The upper quick lace grove is plastic, which is my only concern.

Shoes are not true to size and are way too small. They clearly need improved quality control in regard to sizing. If you insist on buying these boots remember they only come in size ts-df which stands for too small - don't fit.
