Pros

Book was perfectly packaged and arrived on time. This revised edition (2014-2015) finally appears to have a decent binding.

America's test kitchen helps you with bulletproof recipes and explanations for why they work. Almost everything grandma ever cooked for sunday supper is in here. Recommend it to all cooks.

The only fault i've found with the new family cookbook is the recipe layout. It goes over reasons why the recipe works.

Cons

Classic egg salad calls for only 6 eggs compared to the original 12 eggs. Even many of the pictures are the same as in the cooking school cookbook. Get the heavy duty spiral bound version used to cook this egg salad.
