Pros & Cons
Pros
Anthony bourdain is an amazingly gifted writer. This is pretty much what you'd expect if you're familiar with bourdain and his crass humor and unapologetic style.
Wonderful read, fun, and thorough. Tony is as brilliant in this book as his earlier works. This fits for the other two books on this page.
Cons
Most of the pieces are 4 to 5 pages long, most seem rambling and wordy. Bourdain bashing vegans, raw foodists, and * harrelson.
Highlights
Quality
This means that i am spending too much time with the guy and doesnt detract from his writing especially for the lessimmersed reader
And so it is with the nasty bits a heaping plate of older writings from magazines etc
Price
Bourdain is at his sarcastic and judgmental best
Bourdain is a gifted chef but even more so a gifted writer and social critic
Competitiveness
Each vinaigrette is a delight and a fantatsic insight into the mind of bourdain
I cooked in several highend kitchens and with judgement like that i am confident i could work for tony
