I found the whole history of the christmas carol intriguing and the biographical information extremely interesting as a lover of literature and history i knew nothing of dickens as an individual and i really didnt appreciate the number of classics he gave us although ive read quite a few of them sprinkled through the years that this richpassionate voice grew out of his own misery i had no idea
