Pros

Rhett and link's foray into fiction surprised me with its strength. The lost causes of bleak creek definitely had a *-dooesque quality.

The first few chapters are quite slow but after chapter 6 ish it picks up and it’s really good. There's plenty of creativity and originality to make this an interesting story. I was * in right away and enjoyed it all the way through.

Cons

The author tries hard to impress but their prose just doesn't have that grit and punch that you'd expect from a real southern novel. I hated the ending.
