This book is not only affirming but inspiring. Thought-provoking, courageous, and powerful. This is american literature that's uplifting and at the end makes you want to fight for what you believe in.
Every latent dream awakens only when someone is glad for it. The fact that fear seems to encourage bigotry gives me hope that the future is not so bleak.
