Book is a blatant cash grab and running on the hype of the netflix show to come. Do yourselves a favour, stick with the show and skip the book(s) the characters have no depth to them. Hopefully the other versions, and sequel novels aren't like this.
There are a few points of misogyny in the book that are quite jarring. When the narration itself points out that a teenage girl is ugly for no real reason, that is just bad writing in addition to being misogynist. It reads like an adolescent boy's fan... Read More
