Pros

This small family lives on a lifeboat in sausalito. The sec and the fbi is involved. From start to finish, this gripping tale expertly weaves together suspense, love, and resilience.

Quite an enjoyable read. Excellent storytelling. The pacing is great.

Cons

Not enough depth to the story, or a really believable storyline. The narration is so boring. Interesting plot line totally destroyed by inane blathering.

Who flies directly to another city vs internet sleuthing? This book reads like a sophomoric first draft. Despite the promise of a gripping drama, the book is anything but gripping.

Writing prose in first person is always a gamble and here it fails. This story is a slog and an exercise in poor writing and frustration. Sometimes boring, verbose and way, way too wordy.

Just when you get a glimpse of real action and an engaging pace, it falls over and over again to a lengthy monologue or irrelevant flashback. The protagonist in this story, hannah, is devoid of personality and is dull -witted to boot.
