For all that i was able to guess some parts there were still several instances where i read something and went “oh i get it now” and had to upend my worldview on the novel while new information got slotted in that made perfect sense like finding a missing jigsaw puzzle piece that suddenly made the whole picture clear

Unless all the details about the design of scholomance turn out to be incredibly relevant in the third volume those didn’t seem necessary to advance the plot
