Pros & Cons
Pros
This is a trilogy that will keep you turning the pages. This so much reminds me of the jason matthews trilogy of the red sparrow series. Looking forward to the resolution of the “silent sisters”saga.
Fast paced. Once it gets going, the tempo rarely lets up. Highly recommend this book to anyone that loves suspense and intrigue.
Charles is a fully fleshed, idealistic protagonist. Efimov is a perfect foil. A worthy next installment in charles jenkins' spy adventure.
Cons
Mission impossible for our geriatric hero is to find and extract—by himself—a prisoner from the bowels of lefortovo, the prison fortress. This story is chock full of them and it's just plain insulting.
