There is a tail on the backside of the door

I used screws to tighten mine due to it popping out cause my large dog busted it by trying to fit through so if you have cats only not an issue not able to close as i was already aware before if you want one like that this is not your item that said use screws to make it so it doesnt come off if you have troublesome animals

I did read reviews about it not staying up and the stickers were not enough to hold in place

To prevent issues i added small dabs of gorilla glue all over for extra support
