Mark's plan eases people out of their carb dependency in a way that is gentle and won't leave them starving or craving. I am never hungry and my energy seems to be increasing and i have lost weight!
The author has you start out slowly before you go full blown into ketosis. Mark sisson explains how ketosis works in the body and why it is healthy to eat fat. The book teaches that a ketogenic diet allows the kindling to burn off for good.
This is a combination science manual, lifestyle overhaul, and cookbook all rolled into one. The recipes are endless and delicious!
Works for meeee. Your plan makes it seem so doable. Understand the chemistry behind the plan.
Cons
The 21 day keto reset diet is a colossal waste of money. The companion cookbook has recipes in it that carb counts that don't seem compatible with maintaining a low total carb count.
For a book so grounded in science and so enthusiastic about the anti-inflammatory benefits of keto, i also was disappointed at its unreflective incorporation of all manner of meat and dairy. Hmmm, now we know why those other products are sooo bad. Not... Read More
