History & science mixed in with fantastic fiction. While the science is stretched, that's artistic licence and to be expected in a thriller. The story is also rounded out by a touch of romance.
From the first book (sandstorm) to this, this series just keeps getting better and better. The series always has me checking and researching after i finish, but i was in tears this time.
The book weaves heart rending love, loss, and reallife sturggle in every character. Great read.

It's like the author went to the airport bookshelf and took one element from every bad king, koontz and chrichton novel. Peter jay fernandez spoils listening to this new sigma force novel.
