The action is high paced, the story is interesting. I iike how baldacci paces his stories. It’s a real page turner. Baldacci for years to come.

Will robie's ability to be a merciless * of villains and then be kind is a dream. While clamping down on the cover-ups, conspiracies and murky undertakings of these merciless terrorists, robie oftentimes finds himself in death-defying bouts.

Goofy plot, implausible dialogue, and plot holes galore. Dialog almost without exception stoical and fragmented.

Most of the novel is dull and appeared to make little progress. This one is just the dud that comes along when an author starts writing too much or just for the money. And this guy is a really big name & has a professional publisher?

Give me a break. Gee thanks-not. You've been warned.

The innocent reads like it was written by a teenager for a teenager. A guy is a hired assassin and now we have a 14 year old entering the story.
