Pros

A very good mystery/courtroom thriller. The writing is excellent and the characters were well drawn. There was a realistic set of police procedural steps to inform the reader.

Atticus priest is another deeply complex yet credibly human character i've come to expect from dawson. Love attic us. Love mack, love the whole book.

Will read installment 2 soon. I hope the ensuing books in this series are as well done. Always anxious for sequels. Will read the sequel after the latest milton novel.

Once i start in on one of mr dawson's stories, i am hooked until the final page. Mr dawson’s versatility is evident. Thank you mr dawson.

Cons

I agree with some other reviews that say this is too british. Nothing against the brits but hard to understand some of the terminology. There was a lot of junk inside, including a pair of hunter boots.
