The story is definitely surreal and two especially towards the middle. Riley is a great story teller and looking forward to reading something else. This type of creepy, suspenseful, "*" read is right up my alley.

A somewhat decent mystery becomes laughably silly for the final stretch run of the story. The unfathomable ending is an utter disappointment. It reads as if the author lost interest and delegated the ending to a fantasy minded 7th grader.
This was not billed as fantasy. Lost interest immediate. Repeat this activity of drinking and spying days on end. Do not waste your time with this * poor excuse for a mystery novel.
