The photographs are exquisite, though sometimes the captions are a bit wanting. Still best to take them all in. The photos are a wonder--i find myself just staring at them, slack-jawed. The writing and the photographs are gorgeous.
Cons
It is not made clear that this version is abridged. Either this new hard cover book is cheap counterfeit or they had a bad day at a ligitimate printing press. The pages are not bound.
