Pros
The imagery plays with the imagination. It reminds me of in the diary of anne frank, where her father says to her after he gives her the diary, there are no locks, no bolts that anyone can put on your mind.
The green book is indeed a masterpiece and deserves much broader recognition and acclaim. Pattie is the main character of the story. She recorded all of the new adventures down in a green journal that she brought on the trip.
The story traces the journey of a small band of people as they journey to a new planet from a dying planet earth. The theme of having to leave one's homeland is full of eagerness, but also sorrow.
Cons
Super expensive for a short novella. It was fleshed out with pages of an interview with the author. All they've got for us if it isn't any good are pills. The book mentions 3-4 times the use of pills.
