This is a story of hope in the face of evil and death. This reports on the daily life of those living this nightmare and how they tolerate it. I think it scares people that even the ss were just human beings.
There suspense, thrilling and true to history. Human beings are endlessly complicated. The details are probably as close to reality as possible.
Cons
Time after time, the author uses the holocaust to spout her pro-abortion nonsense. Totally unrealistic presentation of life in a concentration camp by the privileged.
