The rings on the other hand are ribbed and catch on the paracord when theyre rotated to attach keys whether this will cause the cord to fray long term i dont know yet

Its too big to replace the very small split ring on a swiss army knife say and ring through ring seems a bit superfluous

The keyring is of a size able to accept 5 or 6 keys without crowding but you could loop on a far larger split keyring if this one is too small

Hopefully i will never need to use this as it would mean im in a tough spot and need to fix something securely and quickly but also id have to unravel the cord and as per the sellers guidance it is unsuitable to rebraid
